The mother is a german rottweiler and the father is a american rottweiler.. would the puppies be pure breed?
There is just one breed: Rottweiler and the country where the parents are born is irrelevant except in terms of registration.

The pups would not be considered pure breed one way or the other, but they ARE rotties and you can sell them!

I’m not 100% sure but I believe that they are considered purebred. As far as I know American and German refers to the build of the dog and where that particular build originated.

Unless you have registered pedigree papers for both parents you have no proof that the puppies are pure bred…though they are if neither dog has any other breed in the lines…you just can’t prove it.
The fact that one dog is German and the other American simply means the dogs were born in those countries. They’re still Rottweilers.
My dog is from German lines but she was born in Australia so she is an Australian Rottweiler.

i agree with the other posters.. But unless you are planning to show than it really doesn’t matter as long as it is healthy. And if you are planning on showing you would have to have it registered, with papers, which would tell you if it was purebred or not. I wouldn’t breed with out having a mentor anyways, and they would be able to answer that question.
