How Do I Get My Dog To?

Don't make the same mistakes I made with my Rottweiler!

How do i get my dog to grow to his fullest potienal. He is currentley 11 weeks and 22 pounds. He is a american bulldog/rottweiler. I don't wanna over load him with food and make him fat. Currentley i'm feeding him Solid Gold. Any help?

I purchase my dogs food from the vet, it is higher quality than you will find in the grocery, and better for dogs who may have allergies or agressive behaviour. I have a St. Bernard, has allergies. She eats a Fish/Potatoe blend, along with some glucosimin/condroitin for her joints. Your dog will be a powerful animal, and will be heavier than it looks. Pretty cool combination, you have there. I would add Omega Fish Oils to his diet, his skin won't get dandruff looking, and the coat will be shiny. The higher end dog foods are better for your pet, however, if you are unable to pay the higher costs, try to buy from a feedstore that has quality dog food. The prices will be less than the vet, and you can find good food/treats there. I'm not familiar with Solid Gold, we use Eukanuba Response for her food, and Innova Health Bars. They are cookies for dogs, loaded with fish oil, and good stuff. My dog loves them!

Yes, let him grow up a little. My goodness he needs to grow up before you can pump him up. Once he reaches 12 months old you can start to train him and work out with him until then he just needs good food and love and exercise and obedience training.
    Enjoy your pup.
