Rottweiler or Doberman or American Bully?
Ok here's the deal i need a very strong dog that will keep strangers of my yard and will protect me and my family from harm.See in my neighbor hood theres alot of stealing and breaking into houses and i think that is soon gonna happen to me so were gonna get a strong dog that will alert us and is strong enough to take the stranger down.Which is Best?
My son has an American Bulldog who weighs 130 lbs and is the sweetest thing but will protect us and the house. Pit Bulls have a reputation of attacking anything and anyone, not all of them but it is known to have more problems with attacks than any other breed. A friend had a Rotweiler that was 11 yrs old and never had a problems then for some reason he bit a little girl on the arm, the dog had to be put down and lady had to pay a big fine. I would not train the dog to attack anyone, they will usually protect their owners without doing that, and you will save yourself a lawsuit

Well if you are up to the insurance a american pitbull are great family dogs becuase they are so loyal to their families. Doberman might look fierce but they are not the fiercest breed out of the three. A Rottweiler are great to have as well becuase of how loyal they are. All three dogs are loyal and will protect you in so many ways. Having a dog is a great deterence to keep people from breaking and entering. Sad to say though if someone is going to break in they will and a dog is not going to stop them all the way.

I would get either, they are all intimidating so people would stay out! No dog is a bad dog, only bad owners. So get any but keep it as a pet not as an item. A dog is a living thing and require love and attention, you need to have money to take care of things. A dog has the right to a vet and proper and adequate shelter!

Get a Rottweiler. Pitbulls are human friendly and might not attack the intruder. They are aggressive towards other dogs. I've never owned a Doberman but they seem pretty tough and loyal dogs. I had 3 Rottweilers before and all of them were good dogs. Very well mannered to their owner but a terror to intruders!

I have a half american bulleie pitbull and hes also half american pitbull terrier.
I bought him for the same reson.
He does his job well. anyone uninvited gets preety shakin up when they walk through the door..
hes a sweet heart too… I let him play with my nieces, he cuddles all the time but the only thing is that he is stubborn to teach(but veeeerrrryyy smart) and he barks at any noise…
I would definatly recomend the america bullie pitbull as a loyal, and friendly dog but will be there when its go time…
from what ive seen , i also would get a femail, they are the most protective, the males are just clowns an do clown things….(mines a male)
