Anything can be dangerous in the wrong hands. Dogs are no exception. If they are bred improperly, raised improperly, and not socialized the way they should be, then yes… they can be dangerous. Unfortunately, those breeds get a bad reputation because people with bad intentions tend to choose the breeds that are strongest, most loyal and can do the most damage. I used to run a rescue for abused dogs and dealt almost exclusively with the bully breeds such as pitbulls. I find them to be great family dogs and very loving with the proper care and training. In temperament tests, pitbulls scored on the same level as golden retrievers. They are not human aggressive by nature, but they were bred as hunters and will attack other animals if you don't work with them from a young age. Fear is born out of ignorance and as long as there are people out there who believe everything they hear and don't get all the facts, these dogs will continue to be labeled as dangerous killers.

These dogs are not dangerous. Its is the people who own these dogs breeds are need to know how to take care of them.
Different dog breed have their own thing. Educate yourself first on that breed.
If you train a puppy or even a grown dog right you won't have puppy/dog that will be aggressive. Also having a under-socialized dog is no good either.
