Select a top quality brand of dry puppy food, moisten it with warm water so its easier for him to eat and feed him 4 times a day for now. Within about a month (he’ll let you know), you can cut the meals down to 3 a day. Most puppies cut out the middle meal by the time they’re 4 months old or so, then he’ll get fed twice a day for the rest of his life.
You also need to provide him with a supply fresh water.

The puppy will start drinking water and eating food at this time. Look into raw feeding. Many breeders never bother with dog food, but put the puppies straight on a raw meat diet.

Even tho the bitch refuses to nurse, it’s still up to the breeder to keep the pups until they are no younger than 6 weeks minimum. Only an unreputable backyard greeder would pawn off a 5 week old pup.
