ive been thinking and i would really like to rescue/adopt a rottweiler puppy instead of buying one. Anybody have any ideas where i can get one thats also nice and i wont have problems socializing. I live in New Jersey
You likely won’t find a young purebred puppy in rescue, however there are plenty of Rottie mixes in shelters and if you are willing to take an older puppy or adult dog plenty of purebred Rotties in shelters and breed rescue. "nice" is a matter of genetic temperament combined with socialization which you have no idea of knowing about with a puppy from rescue with an older dog you will have a good idea of temperament.

Don’t you will end up with a dog who you can’t break it’s old habits and many were abused so you will have a accident waiting to happen. Besides about only 1 in a million are purebreds at shelters. Be careful they will tell you that they are but you don’t have proof without papers which they don’t have.
