This is the story of an 11 year old rottweiler who was taken by her forever family and suddenly one day dropped at a shelter. The shelters are always packed, so after a week, the shelter decided to give her 3 more days before euthinizing her. On September 1st, 2008, we were looking for a friend for our male rottweiler who had just lost his forever companion of 6 and a half years. She had passed away quickly from renal failure. This video was made from Nessy’s point of view. Can you just imagine the pain and fear of loosing your forever home and everyone you loved? We are greatful we found her in time and this video is to show that you can adopt an older dog and find love and warmth and adoration. The song is Blurry by Puddle of Mudd and it is for entertainment purposes only.

thankyou so very much my dear friend. How right you are. She would have lost her life too because she was viewed as disposable. Sickening. As and adopter, you sure know what I’m talking about. Hugs to you and Andra.

Thankyou very much RottAndRoll. Nessy is the greatest ever and is doing so well here. It’s the best thing we could have done, especially for our Tippy. I appreicate your checking Ness out.
You have done a …
You have done a wonderful thing. Adopting an 11 yr old dog(especially a Rottie) that many would just walk by knowing that they would not have much time with this dog. She looks beautiful for 11!!. Glad to see she will spend the rest of her days knowing and feeling the love!
Until more people …
Until more people view them as companion souls to us, instead of property like an ipod, more innocent creatures will find themselves abandoned. Humans can’t even extend compassion to their own species – other species are going to suffer even more.
I can’t tell you how happy I am for Nessy, she is luckier than she will ever know. All she has to worry about now is if someone has taken her spot on the couch. They should all be that lucky.
Big hugs and kisses to you all.
Lovely story. I am …

Give her a hug from me…..shes such a beautiful looking dog.
What a great video, …
What a great video, my friend! The song is perfect! They took everything away from Nessy, and they were going to take her life away as well… So many older dogs find the same fate… Not many get a second chance! I will never understand people who consider their long time companion suddenly disposable….Shame shame on them! You are one lucky pooch, dear Nessy! You are forever safe, now!
