   There are a few things to keep in mind when naming a puppy. Make sure it doesn’t sound like a command that you are going to use in training. “Skit” might sound too much like “sit”.
   Make sure that it is easy to call. Say it several times quickly to see if it works. Make sure that any shorten version is still acceptable. The first website below has hundreds of names, with meanings. You can search based on a number of criteria like male/female and appearance.
   How about Drover, since they were drover's dogs.
