What You Need to Know About Rottweiler Mixes
Rottweilers are parents of no less than six recognized Rottweiler mixed breeds, and parents of many unrecognized crosses. One of the most numerous Rottweiler crosses in England was with German Shepherds. The names of the Rottweiler mixed breeds can be quite comical.

What are common rottweiler mixes?
I have this adorable puppy here sitting on my lap. She is only about 5 or 6 weeks old and she is growing like a weed. I was told by the chic who gave us the pup that both parents were pure bred rotties. But I'm beginning to wonder. She has white patches on her and a curly tail. I honestly don't really care that she might not be a full rottweiler. she is adorable and she is one of my family now, no matter what she mght be mixed with. So I was just wondering if anybody has a pup like mine and if you could tell me what my pup might be mixed with. We go to the vet in 2 weeks, but I can't really wait that long. I've got that thought train going and it won't stop till I can get an answer. Thanks guys!
I got my dog from a shelter and they said she was a rottie/australian cattle dog mix, she has white spots on her chest she is so cute with brown and black coat. They are good dogs, mix breed is even better, they have less problems.

I had 2 rottie collie crosses, until my uncle stole them for his farm!!!! Go to your local shelter and ask what the most common breeds they get in, you'll probley be able to tell from those breeds. The curly tail makes me think husky or akita, unless is tightly curled then I'd thin pug(yes a little dog can breed a big dog!) The white patches can also be akita or husky. Your vet will have a better idea, since they see pups all the time and they know what breeds are in your area. I hope I helped a bit…

A rottweiler can mix with any breed of dog that is around the same size as them. We have a client at the clinic I work in who has a 1/2 rottweiler 1/2 basset hound if you can imagine that. It is built just like a basset but has all rott coloring. It's pretty odd looking but cute!
The only thing I can think yours may be mixed with is a Great Pyrenees, only because of the curly tail. But honestly it could be anything.

Since Rotts can mix with just about any other breed, your pup could be any mix. You know it's not pure Rott with the curly tail & white patches but unless you paid for a pure Rottie, it doesn't matter. I had a Rott/Mastif cross that was very large but had the sweetest temperment you could ever want. Brandy died last year at the age of 16 and is greatly missed.

I have a rott, husky mix. She is about 60 lbs, 1.5 years old, body frame is that of a husky, color and markings are that of a rott, but she has blue eyes (yes both eyes). She is a little off her rocker… never mean tempered, always happy, and a tad bit goofy. She has a preference for wood chips, small plastic toys, like army guys, and just about any kind of floor debri. I only get mutts, my folks used to get purebreds, but I think the mutts have great personalities!
Your dog has the same feature as mine. My dog Angel is a Rottweiler mix with German Shepherd.
