I seen a video on youtube about a rottweiler picking up and carrying logs for exercise. I was wondering if my rottweiler carrying log, found outside of my house, with his mouth would poison it or make it sick?
Why would a log poison a dog? Can’t think of many trees that are poisonous…What I mean to say is: It’s a DOG, dogs pick up everything with their mouth, dogs are designed to be able to handle bacteria and such from rotten meat to feces…a piece of wood isn’t going to hurt him unless he eats it…

Rottweilers are pretty resilient dogs, I’m sure your rott is going to be okay no matter what he does. Dogs in general have the tendency to eat sticks, stones, and other outdoors stuff.
Remember, dogs descended and were breed from wolves, so they’ll be okay.
