We have a new Turkish Van about 4 months old. He has taken to stalking and attacking our 3 rottweilers in our large garden. The rottweilers never retaliate and have taken to avoiding him. He will hide in bushes and ambush them. Is this a game he will grow out of? I’m sick of treating deep dog muzzle scratches.
Your kitten doesn’t hate your dogs, it sounds to me as if he wants to play as kittens love to hide and ambush each other. Is there any chance you could get another kitten so they can play together ?
It’s as well your dogs have learned to respect him as a kitten can end up badly injured or even killed by a large dog. Their scratches will heal ! Has your kitten got a good tall strong scratching post ? He needs one to dig in his claws to exercise his leg, shoulder and back muscles to keep them healthy.
