Planning to have a dog as pet? It is best to take note that there are dog breeds that are dangerous. One should keep in mind that dogs are not always kind and sweet. Before buying a dog, you might want to check out the top four most dangerous dogs in the world.
Fourth among the most dangerous dogs are the Huskies. Huskies are the behavioral representative of the domestic dog’s fore bearer—the wolf. Huskies are known to display a wide range of its ancestors’ behavior. They are first bred to be sled dogs and they are noted for their ability to run fast. Owners should be mindful of releasing their husky pet from the leash while taking a walk for they have the tendency to run for miles before looking around and realizing that their owner is already out of sight. German shepherd is considered to be the third dangerous dog. They are first trained to her sheep. Nowadays, German shepherds are trained as police dogs and search and rescue dogs. They are intelligent and affectionate. They protective with the family they are with and affectionate to children. However, there are some noted biting cases caused by German shepherds.
Noted as third dangerous dog in the world is the Rottweiler. Rottweilers have the “wait-and-see” stance. They are calm creatures but they pay close attention to the surroundings. They are territorial, thus making them good guard dogs. They are protective with the family they live with and are suspicious to strangers.
The most dangerous dog breed is the pit bull. Pit bulls have unpredictable mood and can be aggressive without prior notice. Because of their aggressiveness, pit bulls are usually taken to dog fights. One of the qualities of this breed making it the most dangerous dog in the world is its ability to aim for the neck and lock its jaws on the opponent’s throat. Pit bulls are known to never release its enemy until it is dead.
Knowing the breed of dangerous dogs does not mean you should not try to get one. This only serves as a guide of what breed you might want to consider having as a pet. Being a breed of big dogs does not necessarily mean they are dangerous. Small breeds can also be aggressive and vicious if not given proper attention. In general, dogs only misbehave and act wild if they are abused and treated unjustly.

2003 Schutzhund USA Nationals & WPO Championships in Reno, NV. This is a great video showing some of the top dogs of that years nationals. The video is 3hrs 45min long and is good quality in regards to clarity of picture and recorded to cd in high resolution. Below is a list of the dogs and what phase is on the video, although the dogs entire routine may not be captured you still get to see an example of their work.
Special Note: This video was filmed by none professional video photographers over a two day period. A few of the competitors may be difficult to see and at times and during parts of the video the frame is frozen because a still picture was taken. Also the video contains no sound till the closing ceremonies due to background noise and private conversations going on while filming. In no way is my aim to make capital gain from others hard work by getting to the nationals, but I have spent countless hours video taping and editing this video so others who may not of had the chance to attend could enjoy it. The video is burned to a writable cd and is in the *.wmv (Windows Media Video) format. Cds can be played on any computer and some newer DVD players that play media disks. The cost of purchasing the CD is $25 + S&H. All proceeds cover the cost of producing the video and whats left goes back into my dog & our quest to one day be on the podium.
